Career Opportunity: Flash Platform Application Developer

Pegasus Interactive is a 12 year old successful multimedia software development firm that has created an award-winning brand of avionics CBT programs, in addition to providing contract services to a variety of high technology clients. Major partners include Boeing, Garmin & L3 Communications. Our scenario-based, guided simulation software is second to none.

We have an immediate need to hire full-time Adobe Flash Platform application developers for on-site work at our West Chester, PA office. This position will be responsible for software development of computer-based training projects and Rich Internet Applications. Must work closely with subject matter experts, interactive designers and project management, in addition to interacting with Pegasus Interactive business partners and clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid experience developing projects using Actionscript 3.0 and Adobe Flex;
• A thorough understanding of Adobe Flash Platform APIs (Flex, Flash, etc.);
• Experience integrating Flash with external data sources, such as XML, MSSQL, MySQL and SOAP based Web Services;
• Experience using the Adobe Flash Platform to develop cross-platform, stand-alone applications, as well as Rich Internet Applications;
• Experience in implementation of Model-View-Controller architectures (Cairngorm, Zend, etc.);
• Experience using Flash to develop cross-platform, stand-alone applications
• Server-side development experience (PHP, ASP, JavaScript, etc.) desirable
• An interest in aviation related topics and flight experience a plus
