Career Opportunity: Flash Animator/Multimedia Designer

Pegasus Interactive is a successful 12 year old multimedia software development firm that has created an award-winning brand of avionics CBT programs, in addition to providing contract services to a variety of high technology clients. Major partners include Boeing, Garmin & L3 Communications. Our scenario-based, guided simulation software is second to none.

We have an immediate need to hire a full-time Flash Animator for on-site work at our West Chester, PA office. This salaried position will be responsible for animation and graphics development, including GUI design, on a variety of aerospace computer/web-based training projects to support branded, contract and private labeled programs. Must work closely with subject matter experts, software engineers and project management, in addition to interacting with Pegasus Interactive business partners and clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Solid experience creating Flash animations, using Actionscript 2.0 and exposure to AS 3.0.
• Strong background working with digital illustration and related graphics applications, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Fireworks, Corel DRAW, etc.
• Experience with digital video capture & editing programs, such as SnagIt and Quicktime Pro preferred.
• Experience with 3D animation applications a plus.
• An interest in aviation related topics and flight experience a plus.

Compensation will be determined by skill set and experience.
